A full-service media production studio built on cinematic craft and operational discipline. We make the films, shoot the B-roll, design the sound, and build the workflows — so brands can scale how they show up without sacrificing what makes them worth watching.
Craig is a filmmaker, technical product manager, and systems builder with over a decade in video production, documentary, and content infrastructure. He founded McCallum Media Group to close the gap between premium creative and consistent, scalable delivery.
He directed the award-winning feature Between Mercy and Me — which reached more than 700 theaters — and holds a production credit on He Calls Me Daughter, an Angel Studios theatrical documentary directed by Rick Altizer. He has also produced documentaries, brand films, and content campaigns for businesses, nonprofits, and faith-driven organizations across four continents.
His background spans both sides of the camera — and both sides of the spreadsheet. The studio is built on that intersection.
Every project starts with a question: what do we want the audience to feel? Not what do we want to say — what do we want them to feel. That question shapes everything from the script to the color grade.
High production value doesn't have to mean high overhead. We use AI-assisted workflows, smart scheduling, and efficient post pipelines to deliver premium work without the agency markup.
A single shoot should fuel weeks of content. We design productions with distribution in mind — so you get more reach from every dollar you invest in production.
We use AI tools the same way a cinematographer uses a lens — as an instrument, not a shortcut. The creative decisions stay human. The repetitive ones don't have to.
"We don't make videos. We build the kind of media engine that turns one shoot day into a quarter of content — and a brand into something people remember."Craig Lamar Brown — Founder & Director, McCallum Media Group
Most growing businesses have something worth saying — and no consistent way to say it on camera. They're either producing nothing, or producing content that doesn't reflect what their actual brand looks like in person.
We close that gap. We build the films, the social systems, and the workflows that produce cinematic content consistently — without requiring a full-time team, a six-figure budget, or a crash course in production.
